Diablo Valley home cooks are invited to enter the first annual Diablo Valley "Dinner in a Snap" Cook-Off! Think of that dish you make that all your friends rave about. It could be a winner!
Cook-Off categories include:
-- Salad
-- Appetizer
-- Baked Good
-- Weeknight Meal
-- One Dish Meal
To enter, email your recipe and a story that involves the dish to info@ensemblesmeals.com. Entries will be judged based on taste, originality, ease of making "in a snap", and your story. The story can be where the recipe came from, a memory you have of making or serving the dish, or any funny story about the dish. (Recommended length: one paragraph to one-half page.) Entries are due on June 30th.
Finalists in each category will be notified by July 15th of their finalist status. They will be invited to present their dishes at the Cook-Off Finals on August 8th at 7:30pm at Ensembles, 2550 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, CA. The finals will be judged by a panel of Diablo Valley celebrity judges. Prizes will be awarded to the winner in each category as well as the Grand Prize winner.
